About RoboConnect

Better automation projects start with a clearer foundation

RoboConnect is an independent platform for the early phase of industrial automation projects. We help industrial companies and system integrators build a clearer project basis before the technical supplier dialogue begins.

RoboConnect does not supply robots, machinery or system integration. We work one stage earlier — while the need, the requirements and the constraints can still be shaped.

Background

The early phase is rarely structured

Automation projects usually begin with a real need and a genuine opportunity to improve. What is often missing is a shared starting point that the industrial company and the system integrator can work from.

When the project basis is incomplete, the uncertainty does not disappear. It can carry forward — into the quote, the decision and the execution.

  • The industrial company knows what it wants to achieve, but not always what information a system integrator needs in order to assess the project.
  • The system integrator receives enquiries of uneven maturity and spends technical capacity on basic clarification.
  • Both sides work their way to the same starting point, separately.

This phase is often loosely structured and falls between the company’s internal work and the technical supplier dialogue. RoboConnect was built to give it a clearer shape.

Independence

We clarify — we do not deliver the solution

RoboConnect is not a robot supplier, machine builder or system integrator. We have no technical solution or delivery of our own to sell. The clarification starts from the company’s needs, constraints and project context.

No delivery of our own

We sell neither equipment nor integration hours. The project basis is built on the company’s needs and constraints, and stays useful regardless of who the company ends up working with.

Technical judgement belongs with the specialists

RoboConnect prepares the project for technical dialogue — it does not replace it. Solution choices, engineering and technical responsibility stay with the system integrator and the company.

You decide

You choose which actors to enter into dialogue with. RoboConnect does not take over the customer relationship and does not steer the choice.

RoboConnect makes the early dialogue with the system integrator better prepared. The aim is for the technical dialogue to start from a clearer project basis, so that more of the conversation can be about the solution and the execution.

Our role in the process

A clearer basis before supplier dialogue

RoboConnect adds a structured clarification phase between the need and the supplier dialogue — without replacing the technical dialogue.

  1. Industrial companyHas a need and an opportunity to improve
  2. Structured clarificationNeeds, requirements, constraints — and what is missing
  3. Relevant actorsSystem integrators, technology suppliers or R&D actors

For the industrial company

  • The need, the requirements and the constraints are described in a form others can work from.
  • Missing information and uncertainty become visible while they can still be addressed.
  • Dialogue with relevant actors starts from a clearer basis.

For the system integrator

Today

Your company can be considered for relevant projects coming through RoboConnect — after the project has been clarified.

Clarify Customer — a digital qualification flow for the integrator’s own new or existing customer leads. Those customer relationships remain the integrator’s own.

Matching is based on the project basis. Process, technology, requirements and context are assessed against relevant information about the actors’ expertise and capabilities. The aim is more relevant connections — not sending the project to as many actors as possible.

The method

A repeatable clarification process

The clarification follows a digital workflow, not a consulting engagement. It is structured and repeatable: it covers the same core topics, but can be adapted to the individual project.

That lets the basis be built out as more becomes known, and reduces the need to start the basic clarification over each time a new actor enters the project.

We are also developing an AI assistant for robotics and industrial automation. It is intended to help ask relevant follow-up questions and catch information that is missing. The assistant is under development, and it is meant to support the clarification — not to perform the technical assessment.

  • Structured and repeatable — the same core topics, adapted to the project.
  • What is missing stays an open item, not a silent assumption.
  • The basis can be refined as the project takes shape.

Background and direction

A clearer first step in the automation market

RoboConnect was founded in 2025 as a Norwegian company with global ambitions. Through conversations with industrial companies and system integrators, it became clear that much of the difficulty in automation projects arises before the solution itself is engineered: the industrial company may be uncertain about needs, requirements and constraints, while the system integrator has to spend scarce technical capacity making that basis clear enough to assess and design a solution.

RoboConnect was established to give this early phase a better structure — so that the industrial company gets a clearer project basis, and the system integrator can start the technical dialogue from a better starting point.

The aim is for the early phase to become less arbitrary, and for more automation projects to reach supplier dialogue with a basis that makes them easier to assess and work with.

That matters particularly for small and medium-sized manufacturers without an in-house automation team, and for system integrators who have to prioritise between many enquiries of very different maturity.

RoboConnect is developed step by step, in close dialogue with industrial companies and system integrators.

A better starting point gives a stronger basis for good projects — on both sides of the table.
